迟鹏，1981年出生于山东烟台。2001 - 2005 年本科就读于中央美术学院摄影与数码媒体专业；2003 年开始进行个人创作；2012 - 2018 年于中央美术学院任教；同时获取博士学位；2020年拍摄完成长篇电影处女作《离岸的海》。
