Red Gate Gallery is pleased to present Multiples and More - The Brian Wallace Collection from April 20 to May 31, 2024, in an attempt to find ways and means for Chinese contemporary art to interpret social issues in the multi visual language and the plural nature of multi-version art.
The Brian Wallace Collection's contemporary Chinese art forms include prints, photography, sculpture, and more. Key items on display include:
Su Xinping's early lithographic "Sea of Desire" series reflecting on social reality; Zhou Jirong's early silkscreen print "The Last Memory", which focuses on historical and environmental changes; "Print Calendar", a printmaking social responsibility project initiated by Zhou Jirong and Red Gate Gallery and with the participation of many important artists in the Chinese printmaking industry and running for eight years; Tan Ping's minimalist solo print "Untitled"; Guan Wei's sculpture "Cloud" facing human nature from a transcendent perspective; Shen Jingdong's porcelain statue "Hero" full of personal emotions; Liu Qinghe's experimental ink painting "Move", Which carefully explores the collective behavior of human beings. "My Identity", a conceptual photography by Gongkar Gyatso, an outstanding Tibetan contemporary artist, who analyzes the identity of national culture; "CCTV", Zhou Jun's large-scale photography combined with darkroom technology; Huang Yan's "Chinese Landscape, Tattoo", which integrates photography, traditional painting and behavior, and many works from Wang Qiang, Li Xiaofeng, Jiang Long, Jiang Chao, Tsering Nyandak and Yak Tsetan and Jiang Weitao.
The exhibition will last until May 31, 2024.

Red Gate Gallery is pleased to present Toyism Behind the Mask, a new exhibition of the international artist collective: Toyism. The exhibition will open on April 6, 2024, with the founder of Toyism, Dejo and fellow Toyist Clamaoing, introducing the unique style and positive philosophy of Toyism Art to Chinese art lovers.
玩具主义 (Toyism) 为798艺术区特别创作的巨型壁画 世界文化之树 (The Tree of World Cultures) 也将于4月3日在798艺术区揭幕。
The Tree of World Cultures, a giant mural created by Toyism especially for the 798 Art District, will also be unveiled on April 3 in the 798 Art District.

Red Gate Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the new exhibition Take Away - International artists in the Collection of Brian Wallace.
The 40 works include paintings, prints, sculptures, installations, mixed media and photography by 28 artists from Sweden, Japan, Australia, the United States, South Korea, Mongolia, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Israel, Russia, Canada, France, Germany and New Zealand.
Many works were collected while Red Gate was participating in art fairs in such places as NY, HK, Miami, Tokyo and Seoul while others were collected from artists with a deep connection to China. Many of the artists in Take Away have made a great contribution to cultural exchange through their participation in residency programs in China, exhibitions in China and by curating many shows with their Chinese counterparts around the world.
This exhibition runs to March 2024.

本次展出包括绘画、版画、雕塑、装置、摄影等共40件藏品，分别由来自瑞典、日本、澳大利亚、美国、韩国、蒙古、丹麦、英国、以色列、俄罗斯、加拿大、法国、德国及新西兰等国家的28位艺术家创作。
许多藏品收藏于红门参加纽约、香港、迈阿密、东京和首尔等地的艺术博览会期间，另一部分藏品则来自与中国有着深厚联系的艺术家们。“海外 : 外卖 ”中的许多艺术家都曾参与过中国的艺术家驻地项目，在中国的艺术展览中展示个人创作，与中国同行一起在世界各地策划展览等，他们为文化交流做出了卓著的贡献。
