Red Gate Gallery is pleased to present Australia : Exchange – Contemporary Australian Art in the Brian Wallace Collection.

展出藏品均由具有多民族和跨文化背景的澳大利亚艺术家创作。包括曾在不同时期在中国访问或工作、关注亚太地区文化融合现象的澳大利亚本地艺术家 Carolyn Fitzpatrick, China de la Vega, Eli Turier, Gregory Pryor, Kim Vernon, Kim Westcott, Liz Coats, Michael Cartright 和 Tony Scott; 自身经历受到移民社会影响、并持续探索地缘身份和文化冲突关系的 John Young 杨子荣, Pamela See 薛美玲, 谭思考 Laurens Tan; 以及关注身份认同、气候危机等国际问题并取得重要成就的澳籍华裔艺术家 Shen Shaomin 沈少民, Guan Wei 关伟。

The works are created by Australian artists with diverse ethnic and cross-cultural backgrounds. This includes local Australian artists Carolyn Fitzpatrick, China de la Vega, Eli Turier, Gregory Pryor, Kim Vernon, Kim Westcott, Liz Coats, Michael Cartright, and Tony Scott, who have visited or worked in China at different times and have focused on the phenomenon of cultural integration in the Asia-Pacific region; John Young, Pamela See, and Laurens Tan, whose personal experiences are influenced by an immigrant society and continuously explore the relationships of geopolitical identity and cultural conflict; Chinese-Australian artists Shen Shaomin and Guan Wei, who focus on international issues such as identity recognition and the climate crisis, have achieved significant accomplishments.
