
These recent ink wash explorations are based on over a decade of my personal art pedigree of monochrome works. By incorporating colour, I hope to effectively integrate the language of colour with the original ink wash structure, thereby enriching the expressive power of my artistic language. After all, this world of ours is a colourful one. Although colour is blended in here, I hope that my works will still seem to stretch freely and develop naturally, like life, innocent and full of vitality.
After thinking it over,I suddenly realised that ease and naturalness are humanity in nature and freedom in humanity: they represent the essence of traditional Chinese culture,as well as our intuitive experience of individual life, but we have been shielded from them for thousands of years. On this point, ancient and modern,Chinese and foreign, north, south, east, west, all accommodate each other, notleast in this current era of the global village.

最近的水墨探索是在延续十多年的黑白灰的个人艺术谱系基础之上,融入色彩,希望让色彩语言体系与原来的水墨结构进行有效融合。从而丰富艺术语言的表现力。毕竟,世界是五彩缤纷的。虽然融合了色彩,也希望自己的作品依旧显得自由舒展,自然生发,如生命一样,漫烂而灿烂。
想来想去,我忽然发现,自由自在,自然而然,自然中的人性与人性中的自由,都是传统中华文化中的精华,也是个体生命的直觉体验,只是被屏蔽了数千年。 在这一点上, 古今中外,东西南北,都是相通的,何况在这样一个全球化的地球村时代。

He unfolds brush-and-ink imagery through spatial composition and structural arrangement. While retaining the essence of traditional brush art, his works expand the expressive power of this age-old culture in contemporary society and carry forward the spirit of traditional Chinese culture.
